I have been having problems with Twitter/X for the last few days - other sites as well but mainly Twitter/X - with Shields up and down.
The home page is painfully slow to load and often, even after 20s, I get the ‘Try again’ button and even after trying again, it takes forever. I had been assuming that it was either my internet connection or network but having spent an hour or so troubleshooting, I discovered that everything was fine and that I’m actually getting my full internet speed. Downdetector also showed no issues with Twitter/X.
For some reason (probably my age), I neglected to try another browser and when I just did so (Safari), the Twitter/X home page loaded in about two seconds.
I have relaunched Brave a number of times, rebooted the rooter, toggled airplane mode and rebooted my iPad but still Twitter/X is very slow to load.
I’m using a 5th Gen iPad Pro 1TB (over half free) iPadOS 18.3.1.
