Turning off 2-step authentication

I select “do not ask me for two-step authentication” or “remember me on this device” on each login page, as I set up this browser, and on every successive visit, I am again asked for two-step verification. The browser has saved several of my logins, I have “Block fingerprinting” unchecked, and this issue persists.

  1. Go to Facebook, Koodo, Public Mobile, Amazon, or more.
  2. Login; be prompted with a verification request through email, text, or another app.
  3. Select “remember me on this device” or “do not ask me again on this device”
  4. Upon successive visit, be prompted again for verification.

I would expect the browser to remember that I have been here before and have already verified.
