Trying to play a .wav file 'There was a problem while playing this audio file.'

Hi

Clicked a .wav file from my gmail inbox and it looks like it is about to play but a message appears instead “There was a problem while playing this audio file” I turned shields off and no difference. It works fine in Chrome.

Any help appreciated?
