@Rettatata In terms of Gemini, if you’ve reset your Rewards, you should be good. Your prior Rewards profile will remain linked but eventually severed. But if you’re not using it, then nothing will go there and it should have no impact on you being able to close your Gemini account or anything. So yeah, go to brave://rewards
and choose to Reset
, from there you’re good.
Just to be clear, there’s no way to transfer a Rewards profile from one to the other. So if you’ve been connected to Gemini this month, you’ll get the payment to Gemini next month (or just won’t send at all, I’m not fully confident on that to be honest) . There’s absolutely no way to change it to go to Uphold or something instead.
In terms of not being able to connect to Uphold, it’s a temporary issue that should be getting resolved. I have an open topic on it over at May 2024 Uphold connection errors (aggregate topic)
