On my laptop, I am unable to connect to my Gemini account because it’s “not available in my region” That region being the United States… Where my other devices can access my Brave Rewards account currently… And everytime I try to connect to my Uphold account there’s an “:unknown error”
My second issue is I just withdrew all of my BAT from my Gemini account, but I now want to make sure my rewards go to my uphold account instead of my Gemini account which I will be closing soon.
@Rettatata In terms of Gemini, if you’ve reset your Rewards, you should be good. Your prior Rewards profile will remain linked but eventually severed. But if you’re not using it, then nothing will go there and it should have no impact on you being able to close your Gemini account or anything. So yeah, go to brave://rewards and choose to Reset, from there you’re good.
Just to be clear, there’s no way to transfer a Rewards profile from one to the other. So if you’ve been connected to Gemini this month, you’ll get the payment to Gemini next month (or just won’t send at all, I’m not fully confident on that to be honest) . There’s absolutely no way to change it to go to Uphold or something instead.
