Are token name and token symbol maybe mixed up when adding a custom token to a wallet? I wanted to add “UltraSafe” (https://www.coingecko.com/de/munze/ultrasafe) and added “UltraSafe” as token name and “ULTRA” ans token symbol. But it seems like that the price for the “Ultra” (https://www.coingecko.com/de/munze/ultra) was fetched from Coingecko instead (felt like a millionaire for a few seconds :-D).
Deleted the custom token and added a new one and switched the inputs and then it worked.
We’re working on a solution to the duplicated symbols problem sometimes getting the wrong prices for CoinGecko. We’re planning several fixes so please keep an eye out for a couple weeks and if it still doesn’t work properly with the original token symbol, just let us know again here. Thanks.
