Tips Not Being Recieved Properly

Description of the issue:
Sent tips to channel in amount of 29 BAT. Channel only recieved 19.48 BAT.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Navigate to channel
  2. Send small tip to channel
  3. Repeat step 2 until you have given all the tips you want

Expected result:
Determine where the other 9.52 BAT were sent.

Did you use 1, 5, or 10 BAT? There’s 5% fee for each contribution. Also, if you close Brave after tipping, the contribution may not processed properly.

Can’t wait for ETH 2.0 it should help BAT with process time. The utility token transaction time is a bit long. Sharing would be the bomb.

I used two 10BAT tips, a 5, and a few 1BAT tips. But shouldn’t I be paying only 1.5 BAT with that 5% fee?

If the issue is that the tip didnt process properly due to closing the browser, how will these tokens be recovered?
