Time range select in google search doesn’t work. If I click on it multiple times it’s overlaps the markup. If I click once nothing happens. I’m not able to select a time range…
How can this issue be reproduced?
Open google search on mobile device(I use Apple 16 pro max.
Search for any topic.
Navigate to “news” tab and try to click on time range.
Time range select works as it’s working in any other browser. Without overlaps. I am able to select a time range.
@fanboynz I just tested on my iPhone. Seems to be an issue when Fanboy’s Annoyances + uBO Annoyances is active. If I disable that, it works as intended. Either that or have to disable Trackers & Ads Blocking
Umm, looks like you have the option completely hidden on your screenshot. I don’t even see the Sort by date or Time range drop down boxes.
To be clear, the issue is the drop down box for Time Range. When tapping it should show options like below:
@fanboynz it should be something that loads by default. If I go to Google, type in a word or phrase, and go to News then it appears. I tried changing a few things around and so far not able to get mine to appear like yours.
Been testing random filters but no go. Wasn’t sure if you had some custom filter? If not that, then only other thing I wonder is if it may be due to screen size or something?
@fanboynz just updated filter list and tried, it seems to work fine now.
@f4p can you give it a test? Go to Brave’s settings → Brave Shields & Privacy → Content Filtering and you’ll see Update Lists. Tap it to make sure it’s running on most recent filter list and then see if everything works as it should.
