Tile on Home Page is duplicated

I have pinned the tile on the main Brave page for the DuckDuckGo search engine.
Also pinned three other tiles for a total of four

I use DuckDuckGo a fair bit and today a second tile for DuckDuckGo showed up on the main Brave page.

I think the software should recognize that there is a tile for DuckDuckGo on the main page already and not create a second one.

Probably not easy to reproduce - maybe pinning DuckDuckGo and then continuing to open DuckDuckGo many times.

I have a screenshot but there doesn’t seem to be a way to add an image here

Brave version: Version 1.0.1 Chromium: 78.0.3904.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)

It’s still up on my Mac if that allows you to check anything else.

Tiles on NTP is populated based on your browsing history, @krs. You can hover the tiles to see the URL for that specific tile.

e.g. you pinned brave.com on NTP, but you also visit brave.com/blog often, then both tiles will available on your NTP

Thanks, I see what you mean.

It’s a bit confusing for the casual used because the favicon is the same - and also because of the 6-tile imit that can be displayed.
