Thumbtack.com and some other sites have issues with allowing cursor activity

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Visit site and it feels like the site is loading as even the back buttons are locked up, but the main issue is that you cannot select any options on the site. The cursor doesnt change from arrow to other selection icon, not recognizing the script. This was not the case just a few weeks ago.
  2. Visit thumbtack.com and other sites.
  3. You will need to have all shields off to have site respond.

Expected result:
Able to select options.
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Latest 1.8.8

Additional Information:
If shields off is required, then what does one do?

Thank you for reaching out.
So on my end, testing in both Stable and Beta builds, I’m able to interact with the site using default Shields settings without issue. I was able to create an account, browse, view my profile, etc.

Can you tell me what you Shields settings for the site are set to when you have them up as I’ve done in the image below?
