I believe there should be a preference check box, in Brave, to have new tabs ALWAYS open in Private Browsing, because another application can send in a browser request, which will open in a non Private tab, which is unsafe.

Also I’ve encountered a bug, which occurs when Brave is Force Quit, on os10.13.4, on a MacBook Pro, that Private Tabs, will REOPEN, upon restart, in NON PRIVATE tabs, which means those Tabs weren’t so Private to begin with.

Also are there any plans to bring Brave to the Pocket C.H.I.P. ?

I tried to replicate… but didn’t find the same behavior

  1. Opened a private tab for nfl.com
  2. Force quit
  3. Reopened Brave browser and private tab did not reopen

But it seem possibly related to this post and open github ticket:
