Description of the issue:
so i recently use brave and really like it, and i saw the post about “adblock detected on youtube” on the official Facebook page, i did the same thing on my laptop but i still ocassionally get ads like every 10 videos
How can this issue be reproduced?
- watch ~10 videos
Expected result: the adblocker detected notification pop up but i dont need to refresh the page to watch it, i can just click X, but it’s still kinda annoying

I don’t think anybody at Brave cares about YouTube ad issues anymore. Posts like this tend to go unanswered. I’ve removed all extensions and activated all the recommended settings and I still occasionally get the “YouTube doesn’t allow ad blockers” screen. I’ve never experienced ads playing every 10 videos or so, but when I get the adblocker pop-up, I just delete my history and it goes away for a while. Sometimes I get it again after a few days and sometimes it’s a few weeks. There doesn’t seem to be any regularity to it. But try deleting all history (including cache and cookies, etc.) and see if that clears up the problem.
