The clock on the new tab page displays the wrong time after a while

When I launch Brave, the time is correct. However, after a while, when Brave has been in the background, the time is off (behind) by an hour. I haven’t been able to figure out exactly when or why this happens though, so I can’t supply a how to reproduce just yet.

Brave version: Version 0.60.5 Chromium: 72.0.3626.28 (Official Build) dev (64-bit)
Operating system: Windows 7 Professional SP1.
Time zone setting: UTC+01:00 (CET, no daylight savings time active)

We’ve had some other Win7 users reporting weird time issues in Brave as well:

Will have to continue looking into this. Appreciate your patience.

More info: In my case it happens when Brave has been minimized or in the background for a longer time period. It’s as if the displayed time suddenly jumps to UTC/GMT for some reason.

EDIT: It happens when the new tab page is the only tab. If I open a new tab, browse for a little while, and close it, the time jumps back to to the correct local time.

This seems to have been fixed in one of the latest dev builds!
