The "Brave Shields" thinks that the AD TV Stream is an Ad/Tracker, but it isn't

Hello, it seems that the “Brave Shields” thinks that the AD TV Stream is and Ad/Tracker. But it isn’t of course.

Would that be because the embedded FlowPlayer is configured incorrectly (as a representative from FlowPlayer suggested to me by email) or would there be something wrong with the “Brave Shields” ?

  1. Open AD TV
  2. Notice the black screen in the middle.
  3. Click on the Lion & under “Ad Control” click in the drop down menu and select, “Allow Ads and Tracking.”
  4. Wait for the page to reload and notice the stream appear.

Hmmm… No idea if this is still of any interest…
Anyway, here’s a screenshot of my settings, these are the same as the default shield settings:


For a test I also added “Block Phishing/Malware” but I removed it again before taking the screenshot. As you can see, the settings are the same as in your first screenshot - but the video plays for me.

The thing is, last Friday I renamed my profile folder and let Brave create a fresh one. This fixed a crash that was happening all the time before, now it doesn’t happen anymore. Alas, I don’t want to suggest letting Brave creating a new profile “blindly”, except as a test.
My OS is Windows-7, too, but I have the newest Brave version, 0.23.79.
