What shows up when you search?

The search box looks like the image below. Clicking in the box does nothing. The only way to get the box to work is very, very carefully placing the mouse pointer on the upper line of the box until I get this image I and then clicking the mouse. At that point, I can use the search box normally.

Not sure what I’m looking for. Clicking search input seems fine here. Could you test in private window mode?

How do I turn on private window mode?

Could it be an extension? However, I don’t have this problem with any other webpage search box.

Click on the hamburger menu on the top right “New private window”

It worked correctly with “New private window”. What does that mean? How do I fix it to work without “New private window”?
