Temple Wallet (Extension) no longer functions with Hardware Ledger after latest brave browser update

Description of the issue:
Temple Wallet will not sync to Hardware Ledger in the latest brave browser update.
Version 1.25.68 Chromium: 91.0.4472.77 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Temple wallet worked fine in previous versions. Chrome and Firefox still has full compatibility with no problems.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Install Temple Wallet browser extension
  2. Create new wallet
  3. Goto “connect ledger” option in menu pulldown
  4. Click “Add ledger”
  5. Confirm public key by accepting on hardware ledger
  6. Returns “Ledger error. Unable to retrieve public key” and will not sync.

Expected result:
Suppose to sync without problem but now errors and no sync.

Reproduces how often:
Failure rate 100%
