The Brave desktop browser screen (Windows 10), today 06/27/25, is flashing intermittently… and it’s not the page, but the upper part where the Tabs, Address Bar and Favorites Bar are.

Can you please tell me which browser version you’re using when you see this? Additionally:
- If you disable
Graphics Acceleration (Settings --> System --> Use Graphics Acceleration[...]) does the flashing still occur? Make sure you restart the browser after disabling before you test.
- If the above does not resolve the issue, can you please open a Guest profile (
Menu --> More tools --> Guest profile), close your original profile window (so that you only have the Guest profile window open), and see if the flashing occurs here as well?
- If you have any extensions installed at this time, can you please try disabling them and testing again (I would probably close/relaunch the browser after disabling) to see if one of them may have been the cause of the issue?
Please let me know what you find out. If none of the above solutions work or make any difference, if you can share a short screen recording of the behavior that would be very helpful.
The problem began after this update:
I use some yes extensions that are important to me, but I will try to exclude them to test.
