Task bar freezes when brave is right clicked

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. when right clicking the brave icon in the task bar my disk usage jumps to 100% and the task bar freezes. after a minute or to it the disk usage drops but the options that are supposed to open when right-clicked don’t appear

  2. because of this I can’t start with the secret mode but have to first open brave in normal mode and then open in secret mode

  3. left-clicking it work just fine. right-click on other programs (excel, file explorer) works just fine

  4. this issue started yesterday. before that it worked just fine.

Expected result:
to be able to right-click on brave without task bar freezing and a jump on disk usage

Brave Version( check About Brave):
V1.23.75, 64 bit

I’m using window 8.1
