Take notes on current tab / group of tabs

It happens quite often that I am comparing things that are spread over different tabs. It would be amazing if I could take notes on a tab to then later read back my notes, or to compare different tabs. For example:

  1. On Monday I take some notes on a few tabs.
  2. On Friday I continue my research, but instead of having to re-read everything, I just read the note on the tab (or URL) and remember what it was about and why I liked it or not.

Or:

  1. I start taking some notes on the tab that is currently open and tag the notes “hikes in [beautiful area of the world]”. Then I keep searching for hikes, and
  2. at some moment, perhaps weeks later, I can open all notes tagged “hikes in [beautiful area of the world]” and figure out the pros and cons of everything and take decisions.

Or:

  1. I’m reading something interesting. I take some notes.
  2. Months later I forgot what it was. I open the page, see my notes, and remember.

Now I use Keep or Docs for it. Would be nice to have it in the browser, possibly with the option to link to Google Docs or something.
