Tabs view no longer showes an image of the webpage in a tab

Description of the issue:
The tabs function no longer displays a snapshot/image/preview of the web pages that are open. Instead it’s just a text list of the webpage name and the URL.

How can I change this back to showing the snapshot/image/preview of the page rather than just a list of text?

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Have more than one tab open.
  2. Click on the tabs button.

Expected result:
Show a snapshot/image/preview of the webpage(s) that are in the tabs.

Additional Information:

Do you have any flag enabled in chrome://flags?

Hi Sriram,

See screenshots of which flags are current set to “enable”. The vast majority of all the others not shown are set to “default” with a few set to “disabled”. Please note that I’ve never gone to this page before nor even changed any of the options here manually.

One more screenshot included in next post due to limit of screenshots I can post…

Here’s the last screenshot…

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need additional information.

These are default enabled. Looks like you haven’t changed anything from default. Does Chrome behave the same way?

Yes, just checked and Chrome is also doing the same thing now.

Ok so its definitely not an issue with Brave alone then. Do you have any specific theme installed on the device?

I just figured it out

This setting was checked/enabled for whatever reason in Brave as well as in Chrome.

No clue how that got enabled but once I unchecked it it’s back to normal now.
