Description of the issue: Tabs disappear whilst using desktop version of “non-Private”, defaulting to Private
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3. I had noticed several people having a similar problem, albeit I am unsure of their operating systems.
I reproduced a means which has not yet failed to get-back to where you were prior to an inadvertent Brave crash. I understand there were several remedies, although I don’t recall seeing anything which would lead to a permanent fix.
After crash, reopen Brave. If you are having the very issue I suggested, do not fret, as the data is not lost. Steps to reproduce are, 1) Go into Settings, towards the bottom, under Private Tabs, even if the radio button is turned to off, turn it on, then disable again…this seems to be reset as if Private Tabs has never been visited (as in, you will see the sunglasses, which ensures any activity has been removed.) 2) Within Settings under the top selection, “Shields & Privacy”, there is another Private Tabs setting in the middle of the page, after the Protection Settings, 3) under Other Settings, “Private Browsing Only”, even if turned-off, turn-on the radio button, which prompts you with a messsge that restoring with shut-down all tabs, select “Yes”, then 4) turn-off the aforementioned setting. 5) Wait about 20 seconds, and you are back where you left-off, no changes, although you are logged-out of some, if not all, websites. 6) I find it time to clear the Settings anyhow, since the Login Data could still be available somewhere, somehow. However that’s not anything yo which I am knowledgeable about.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!): Reinstates as if the load crash never happened. I do not yet have this capability to add screenshots.
Expected result: Providing an option for those that do not use Private Mode, and changing the programming to reflect that, and to determine why this has to do with both of those tabs; are they somehow connected via manipulation of Code.
Reproduces how often: 100% of the time using iOS in Desktop Mode
