Tab configurations for visual accessiblity

While grouping of tabs with colors is great and there is a indentation for the tabs within the group, I wanted to highlight 2 asks here for visual configuration which would also greatly enhance the visual accessibility of vertical tabs feature in Brave.

  1. Could there be a “No Color” option for a tab group?
  2. Could a customization be added to configure how much a tab within a group gets indented?

Reasons:
While the vertical tab color down the left side of the tab is a very nice way to group tabs visually, it also creates a very complex visual problem for those with varying visual abilities. The bright color takes away from the contrast and readability of the tabs and further the different color line groupings cause added visual strain as one needs to focus more intently on the tabs to be able to read them. What I suggested above is to give an option to set “No Color” so it just leaves it the plain color of the browser tab panel background. The grouping is still visible with the tab group header, similar to that of of a folder grouping.

As for the tab indentation configuration, I can appreciate the compactness that a smaller tab indentation gives although again for those with low vision, having a larger indent becomes more visually accented so it is obvious from a placement POV that a tab is within a group.

Both these asks work well with one another and complement one another in how they work.
