Sync on Android 9 not working

I have tried using the sync option on multiple devices. It completes and verifies that sync has completed on both devices. Upon checking, nothing has been synced.

1.try syncing devices with Android 9/pie

Expected result:
Fix the problem with an available update

Nokia 3.1 Android 9/Pie
Additional Information:

Go in to your phones setting app go to sitting. Then to the Brave app icon open it once inside go to Permission and make sheer they are all still active. Especially storage. Then press back go down to data usage and make sheer background data is active if that dose not work go back to your brave app
Click on your account imagine in the top right hand corner go to the click by the symbol by your name on the left click it then go to the second drag down box go to notification adjust these sitting. All so go down to make sure that it is labeled as the main browser app.

Everything is as it should be, and yet it is still malfunctioning. The other devices are a Samsung and a Nexus. Both say they are compatible, with sync available. As stated before, it verifies the connection and states that sync has completed, but nothing is available as it should be.
