Sync not working, Unable to leave sync chain also

Description of the issue: My sync group isnt working, nothing is being sync’d other than bookmarks, and if i attempt to leave the sync group and make a new one i leave and it doesn’t work, just takes me back to the sync chain i was already apart of

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Attempt to leave sync chain,
  2. Asks if you want to leave, Click OK
  3. It goes back to the same page with the “Manage your synced devices”

Reproduces how often: Everytime

Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): [
Version 1.77.100

Type of devices currently running on the Sync chain in question:
Desktop PC

Additional Info
If i goto brave://sync-internals/ This is all i see. I saw in some other posts i could delete the data here but couldnt find it

I have the exact same problem on (antiX) Linux. Only Bookmarks sync, leaving sync chain does not work, sync-internals presents an “Enable” button that does nothing.

I completely removed the device from the chain it didn’t want to sync with, then created a new chain on that device. Then I left the new chain (should work with the “Leave chain” button) and added the device back to the original one.
And just like that, it started syncing everything.
