Sync not working or Saving Settings

Description of the issue:

I setup Sync according to the instructions on a Mc pro, then copied the code and added it for sync purposes on my Mac Mini and nothing syncs. Sometimes the settings for sync are not saved when I go back to it.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Open Brave browser on Macpro
  2. go to FILE > PREFERENCES and click SYNC
  3. Click manage your sync devices
  4. Copy sync code for mac mini
  5. Customize Sync
  6. Select what I want (no save button, doesn’t save settings)
  7. go to Mac mini and do steps 1-3
  8. Click I have a code and paste the code from the macpro in it and hit ok
  9. Wait

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Nothing is saved, no syncing

Expected result:

Selected sync items would be synced such as bookmarks and passwords

Every time

Up to date Brave version 1.30.87
