Full sync chain shows on Mac and iPad, but only “iPhone” shows on iPhone

MacPro (2013) OS 12.6.8, iPad Pro (2nd gen) iOS 16.6.1, iPhone 12 iOS 16.6.1
I have been trying to get the sync feature to work with my Apple devices for a long time, but to no avail.
