Sync breaks after Brave updates consistently for the past several weeks

1-Update Brave
2-Launch Brave
3-Sync on Primary Profile is completely gone and has to be reconfigured

How can we stop sync from breaking? The odd thing is that sync on my secondary profile is fine. The primary one (i.e. whichever one was last active) is the one that gets affected post update
