Switching to brave from another window: the screen is blank for a couple seconds

Description of the issue:
Ever since a few weeks ago (I think it started right after a major Windows update), the Brave browser has been very slow to switch to from another window/program. The time varies, but switching to it (from minimized) or opening it for the first time results in a short period of the screen being completely white.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open brave and a few tabs
  2. Open another program
  3. Switch back to brave

Expected result:
The screen will be white for a few seconds

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.23.75 Chromium: 90.0.4430.93 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hi @Samda,
Can you try disabling hardware acceleration and seeing if that helps? brave://settings/system
