Suddenly can't login to eBay with Brave but works with Firefox or Chrome

I get this error when trying to login to eBay:

Pardon Our Interruption…

As you were browsing eBay, something about your browser made us think you were a bot. There are a few reasons this might happen:

  • You’re a power user moving through this website with super-human speed.
  • You’ve disabled JavaScript in your web browser.
  • A third-party browser plugin, such as Ghostery or NoScript, is preventing JavaScript from running.

I have checked and JaveScript is enabled. I have no other extensions running that do anything that could block this. I have not changed anything in Brave from the previous day when it was working fine to login at eBay. Chrome and Firefox work fine to login there. This problem just came up on Windows 7 64 bit and nothing else has been added or changed on this OS before this problem came up. On the same computer I can boot Window 10 and Brave works fine to login to eBay but I do most of my work on Windows 7 so would really like to keep using Brave there.

I’m also not moving through the website at super human speed :wink:

I decided to try changing some other settings. The setting listed below was the problem. It has always been enabled so apparently eBay changed something in the last couple days that requires it to be disabled or you will get that error when logging in there. This setting needs to be disabled:
“Prevent sites from fingerprinting me based on my language preferences” X
Enabling this setting reduces how much web sites can learn about your language preferences.

Could you re-test in Brave Nightly, enable brave://flags/#brave-webcompat-exceptions-service

Then you can configure Fingerprinting for ebay;
