Still waiting for an ETH transfer from the Brave wallet to my Exchange wallet

Description of the issue: I sent ETH from my Brave wallet to my wallet on the Gemini exchange, 22+ hours later it’s still “spinning”.

Is the issue occurring on a specific network? No

What operating system are you using? Android 14

Brave Version (check About Brave):1.80.113

Additional Information:

If you go to the Activity section in your wallet and click on the transaction hash link, do you see a valid and successful txn or does it show up blank?

I just logged in again to check, now I’m actually seeing some updated info and It looks promising:
Transaction details with source and target wallet addresses and status as “submitted” with options at the bottom to either “cancel” or “speed up”.

It’s just processing super slow…

I’ll check back in with a final success update.

So, it had been several days and the activity still shows as “Submitted” with a transaction hash, but when I searched for the transaction hash using Etherscan, it says “Transaction Hash not found on Ethereum”

Is this normal?

This means the transaction did not go through. Can you visit brave://settings/web3 and Clear wallet transaction and nonce information.

Once cleared, please try the transaction again and it should resolve itself. Thanks!

I gave that a try and it looks like it is doing the same thing. It’s only been about 15 minutes but the Etherscan search returns the same “Transaction hash not found on Etherium” message as before.

Will check it again after work.

Each attempt is charging me “gas”, so this kind of sucks…

Are you making any adjustments to the gas fee? Are you attempting to send all the MAX amount of ETH out of the wallet? If so, you need to leave enough to pay the gas fee.

Oops. I’m an idiot. Sorry. Somehow I read your suggestion of “clearing transaction and nonce” as “cancel the transaction”.

After I re-read your post I followed it precisely and it appears to have worked this time. I see the transaction have on Etherscan. So I presume this time it will be successful.

Well, that was short-lived. The transaction hash did show up on Etherscan briefly. But after only a couple of minutes the scan starts returning the same “not found” message.

I wish I understood this while thing better…

Since then I have tried clearing the transaction and nonce, force stopping the Brave app, clearing app cache and then resubmitting… no luck.

Initially, when the transaction hash is found, this is the message:
PendingThis transaction is made through Blink Protect and is not shared to the public Ethereum transaction pool.

But again, this changes to “not found” after a few minutes
