Spotify keeps crashing in Brave

Don’t let this thread die. Is this still happening?

I’m experiencing the same thing on Brave. Haven’t checked other chromium browsers, but went straight to Firefox, which does not appear to crash after 30 minutes as Brave did.

I’m sursprised that this is still an issue…
I can only imagine that someone has already picked it up and it will soon be resolved. Fingers crossed.

This is happening to me as well, on Brave Version 1.66.110 Chromium: 125.0.6422.60 (Official Build) (arm64).

Has the “aw snap” error message every 15-30 minutes, only Spotify tab affected.
Refreshing the page temporarily fixes it for another 15 minutes.

Does clearing specific cookies or specific local storage being (exept being used for logins). help?

Has anyone had any resolution regarding this?

Many reports from various browsers, different levels of leaking over the last few years. Some browsers better/worse than others, but seems to be their end?

From the suggested fixes from the spotify forums;

  • Ensure HW Acceleration is enabled.
  • brave://settings/reset (maybe?)
