How may I tell Brave that a site is to be trusted?

Can you be more specific? Are you referring to Trusted as in a Secure Connection?

I am typing all of this to get the 20 character minimum. My answer is: YES

Secure Connections are trusted on the basis of cryptography; not user confidence. If the site does not provide a valid certificate for encrypting/protecting the user session, it is not trusted.

Note, just because a site has a valid certificate does not necessarily mean you should trust it. That is where user confidence comes into play. But, if the site cannot (at the very least) offer a secure connection, then it is definitely not trusted.
