Spam notifications as ads?

Hi,

Last night I got several spam ad noticiations. Those sites are not (reallyl legitimate but they present themselves via Brave notifications? Also fake content presenting them as a newspaper. How is this possible? See screenshots. Also my software specifications as a screenshot.

Brave will not show a notification unless you allow it for that site

You can check Menu > Settings > Site settings > Notification and adjust the setting.
