How can this issue be reproduced?
- visit any page made to play sounds on startup (for example, https://fauux.neocities.org/ )
Expected result:
immediately upon loading pages like these, there should be some kind of audio playing, like an .mp3 file and stuff. instead, nothing happens at all
Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.2.42
Additional Information: this used to be a similiar issue way back when in chrome, too, when they made a change to their policies. it was easily bypassed by going to chrome://flags/#autoplay-policy and just changing it to “no user imput required”
