[Solved] Definition Popup

Description of the issue:
Hi,

Pulling my hair out on this one … . I’m sure it’s a simple setting, but in Brave (only), when I happen to double click on a term / word, I constantly get a popup like below. How to disable this?

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Just open a web page, double click on a term / word.
2. I am using Brave as the search engine, is this part of the issue?

Expected result:
No popup

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.39.122

You have an extension that causes that? Dictionaries extension?

Or, maybe . . .

Good suggestion, thanks! I checked, and this is how my browser is configured. And … I don’t think it’s site related => going to the same site from Chrome doesn’t do this. Seems to be Brave itself?

Found it! It was the Google Dictionary Extension, I had to disable,

Display pop-up when I double-click a word

Not sure why it hadn’t synced to Chrome when this was installed, but in any case - problem solved. Just reporting back here to try to help others, if they see the same issue.
