When I read my email in the Brave browser, many emails are missing images even though the setting show pictures is on show all. How can this issue be reproduced?

Can you elaborate a bit on the type of images you’re referring to, as well as what email client you’re using? There can be many reasons this may be happening and a lot of variables so please try and provide as much detail as possible.
Sure, I use Protonmail.
The emails are from Earthsky News and a Michigan news provider called Bridge.
They always have a banner that pertains to the main story in the email AKA an image of the subject. When I use Google Chrome, I see the associated image, but the very same email opened in Brave, the image is missing. Please help.
