Slow Downloads on most websites

Downloads are INCREDIBLY slow on Brave for just about everything.

I ran a 16.4 mb download, and it had over 1hr remaining.
I tested the same download on Edge, and it completed in 4 seconds.

I’ve had this on almost every site for as long as I’ve used Brave; anything that’s from a less-popular site has this problem.

Google Drive, Mega, OneDrive, etc are all perfectly fine.
The moment I download PureRef, or a file from Nexus Mods, or something less popular, a 20mb file will take 30+ minutes dow download.

Bumping this.

:white_check_mark: no extensions active
:white_check_mark: deleted Browser Cache (why is Brave not managing that properly by itself?)
:white_check_mark: no hardware acceleration (how could that slow down a download?)
:white_check_mark: Brave in newest version 1.68.137 Chromium: 127.0.6533.100 (Offizieller Build) (arm64)

This is a everlasting issue since 5 years now…
