My brave browser is running very slow. The task manager is showing a suitable and regular allocation of resources to various processes in all the parameters but searching on the browser is slow and sites take a lot of time to load.
Could there be any specific reasons to this problem?
Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this resolves the issue?

A few days ago Brave slowed down to a crawl. For example when I am typing this text, it takes 3 to 5 seconds from when I press a key until the character appears. This slowness is with all tapes, regardless of website. YouTube videos no longer render the video properly – a frame shows, then a long pause then another frame. All websites seem to be affected by this problem.
Please advise on how to fix this.
