Site Login ignores that the 'Remember Me' box has been checked

When I login into different sites I’ve given the option to ‘check this box’ and I am assuming, my login name will be remembered the next time I go to log in. Yet the check box seems to be ignored. I am wondering if this is because of how I have my browser configured.

Check the following and make sure no app or estension is set to auto clear Brave browsing cookies:

  1. Open brave://settings/privacy and disable clearing cookies in “On Exit” Tab.
  2. Open brave://settings/cookies and disable clear cookies and site data when you close all windows.

Thank you CerealLover. This fixed the problem. I’ll need to print this out and have it handy as this issue comes up from time to time.
