"Simplified view of open tabs" option is missing

I installed Brave on my smartphone after a few months since last time I used it and as I prefer the tabs in the list layout instead of grid layout, I went to Setting → Accessibility to activate the “Simplified view of open tabs” option to enable it. However, I saw this option is not appearing in that menu. Has this option been removed in any update recently?

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave
  2. Go to settings → acessibility

Expected result:

“Simplified view of open tabs” option to exist

Brave Version( check About Brave):

1.57.60

I found the possible cause of the problem:

I remembered that smartphone accessibility settings interfere with the operation of some chromium browsers. I activated an acessibility tool on my Moto G8 Power that refers to ‘‘Swipe to split screen’’ and the ‘‘Simplified view of open tabs’’ option appeared in the settings.

The problem is that this accessibility tool causes a side effect that makes the toolbars not hide when scrolling. (That’s why I had disabled this accessibility tool in the first place)

So I have to choose between list view and fixed toolbars or grid view with toolbars hiding when scrolling.
