Silent update broken. Why?

Updater is broken. Windows 10

Updater icon appears in brave. Informs to download and reinstall.

See screenshot

Expected to not have this issue. Silent updater should just work.

Welcome back, @jollyzilla

First, the version that you use is outdated. And this issue is already fixed in newer update.

Can you try:

• Download the installer from brave.com/download or if you still have a copy on your device,
• Then run the installer. Make sure you close all Brave processes.
• No need to uninstall . Just run the installer. It’ll try to fetch the latest version.
