I use side tabs, and have them minimized until hover in most cases, but sometimes there is a window I would like to have the sidebar always expanded to see data at a glance. If I want to do that currently then all tabs in all brave windows will expand which takes away from space in some windows.
Another configuration would be on some windows I want the tab on the right side and on other windows on the left.
