Shred not available despite following all instructions

**Description of the issue:**The shred function is not available anywhere even though the flags have both been enabled.

How can this issue be reproduced?

1.Nothing on long pressing tab
2.Nothing in shields
3. No three curved lines showing in browser

Expected result:
Someone to tell me where I’ve gone wrong

Updated iPad to 18.2 yesterday

@AuntieCatherine this version doesn’t exist. I suppose you may have made two typos at once, but can you confirm what you’re seeing for which version of Brave you’re on?

Of course it should have been 17.3 but it doesn’t matter - I restarted to cure a mail problem and when I logged back in, shred was showing up. Which is weird because I tried restarting earlier and it did no good.

yeah, 1.73. Usually I’d think it was a typo but when decimal in the wrong place and different number, I didn’t want to make a wrong assumption.

When you change flags definitely have to restart the browser. Guessing that’s what happened.
