Shortcut for opening subreddits and other popular sites

Some other browsers already have this feature, for example when searching for “r/someSubreddit” instead of opening search engine it would take straight to reddit.com/r/someSubreddit.

Additionally prefixes like “d” or “g” for searching in duckduckgo or google would be nice. For example searching “g wikipedia” would google “wikipedia”, and “d wikipedia” would search “wikipedia” in duckduckgo.

This is possible.
If you go to menu → settings → search engine → Manage search engines
(or enter brave://settings/searchEngines in the address bar)
Below you can see an entry I made for youtube.

Now if I enter :yt into the address bar before entering a search string, it will search on youtube
