Description of the issue:
I always have my shields up, but sometimes I get a popup ad and I realize the lion is grey (shields down). I had no idea how to reproduce the issue and thought maybe it was me accidentally bumping the button if my phone came on in my pocket or some other fault of mine. Today I was able to cause it to happen and I think it is a bug but may not be?
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):
- CLOSE all tabs so that the app closes. (Simply closing the app does not have the desires effect of breaking shields)
- Open Brave (I open mine from a sticky icon if that matters)
- Here is the weird part. It is not 100% reproduceable but when I quickly browse to a site either using autofill or clicking a shortcut from my recent sites, the lion stays grey and USUALLY goes orange after a few seconds… But not always.
It breaks when my internet signal drops out… often when I am in a trailer with low signal. The timing has to be perfect: closed browser via tabs and reopened, then quickly browse to a site so shields stay down while page is loading, AND RIGHT HERE my internet has to blip out “page cannot be displayed: no internet”. Internet comes back and I continue browsing but the shields stay down until I turn them on again.
