Shield often blocks valid links in Brave (iOS)

Description of the issue:
Opening some links into existing/current tab on Brave for iOS doesn’t work, user forced to open link into new tab. Disabling Shield works around the issue.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Go to https://investor.pandoragroup.com/
  2. try tapping on “Financials”, “Presentations”, etc.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Nothing happens

Expected result:
The link should open

Reproduces how often:
Every time

Brave Version(See the About Brave page in Settings):
1.9.3 (19.05.22.15)

Mobile Device details
iPhone X

Android/iOS Version
iOS 12.2

Additional Information:
Long-pressing on the link brings up the menu that allows me to succesfully open the link in a new tab. Simple press on the link to open is as normal does not work, however. Disabling Shield on the site works around the problem.

Also ran into this exact same issue on a few other sites, but Pandora’s URL is the one I happen to remember.

Thanks for the report. Confirmed its an issue with adblock blocking the scripts. Disable that works just fine. I’ve logged an issue for this and can be tracked here
