Description of the issue:
When logging into a website, where 2-factor-auth is enabled, there is a popup where we need to choose, which Passkey method should be used:
- Windows Hello or Hardware key
- Smartphone, Tablet or security key (this will bring up a QR code)
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Sign up to a website where FIDO2/WebAuthn is supported for 2-factor-authentication (e.g. protonmail.com)
- Setup external hardware key
- Try to log in to the website
- The popup from above screenshot will appear
Expected result:
It would be great to set one option as the default one. For e.g. I’m using a Yubikey and therefore, I always want to use the first option with external hardware.

Additional Information:
The additional click is no dealbreaker, but quite annoying.
