Sending USDC not working?

Description of the issue:
I’m wanting to send my USDC to Coinbase.
When I go to approve, I get a message saying, “The associated token account does not exist yet. A small amount of SOL will be spent to create and fund it. Learn more”.
I tap approve, but it fails. I’ve not been able to find an explanation for the reason why.

Is the issue occurring on a specific network?

There is likely not enough to fund the token account. If you add a small amount more you should no longer see this issue when sending to new token addresses.
