Sending one-time tip to a Verified Creator shows up under "Pending contributions"

Every month I send the BAT I earn from ads to a charitable organization’s website.

This month, after receiving the $BAT from Brave Rewards, I went to Send A Tip,:

clickforafrica.org
Brave Verified Creator

Then I see

wallet balance 1.85 BAT

So I click 1.0 BAT Tip Amount, and then click SEND MY TIP.

And I see:

Thank you
You`ve just sent a tip to:
clickforafrica.org
1.0 BAT

I’ld presume everything went OK, but then I see my balance is still showing 1.9 BAT, and then under chrome://rewards/

You’ve designated 1.0 BAT for creators who haven’t yet signed up to receive contributions.
Your browser will keep trying to contribute until they verify, or until 90 days have passed.

So then when I click on Show all pending contributions, it indeed shows:

clickforafrica.org  One-time tip 2/8/2020 1.0 BAT

So what gives? How can their website be shown as a “Brave Verified Creator”, but the tip remains Pending with the reason as “creators who haven’t yet signed up to receive contributions”?

Thanks for taking the time to write in and report your issue.

This looks like it’s a bug within the display panel, and that the tips are correctly going through.
