Select Tab 0 Shortcut Doesn't Work

The default shortcut for selecting tab 0 is Command 1, but when I try this shortcut it won’t select Tab 0. I have to use Command 2 to select Tab 1 and then use Control+Shift+Tab to select Tab 0 or just click on it. Any idea why this particular shortcut doesn’t work when all the others do?

I’m running Brave v1.75.180

Please provide a screenshot of what you refer to as Tab 0 and Tab 1

And, when you click on the Tab menu in the menu bar at the top of your Mac’s display, do you actually see Tab 0 ?

(I am using older Macs and older BB versions.)
